He toured the facility, met with students and staff, and highlighted the significance of the over $165 million in federal education funding at stake in his ongoing lawsuit against the Department of Education. This funding supports Dream Center and other similar programs.

On Monday, July 21, 2025, during Impact Camp at Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, the junior varsity boys received a tour of a fire truck from Fire Station 36. Impact Camp, a week-long free camp, offers 300 spots and teaches young boys the importance of education, entrepreneurship, enlistment, employment, and the various positive paths in their lives.
