Last month’s 24 Hours of Booty event in Charlotte raised nearly $1.4 million for cancer survivor programs, according to numbers released by the nonprofit.

The overnight bike ride through Myers Park marked its 14th year in 2015 and has now raised more than $14 million since its inception. While still based in Charlotte, 24 Hours of Booty has expanded to Columbia, Md., and Indianapolis.

About 1,200 people from 26 states took part in this year’s Charlotte event.

Josh Jones of team LIBSTRONG was the top individual fundraiser for the second year in a row, with $34,678. Jones rides in memory of his daughter, Libby, who died last year of leukemia at age 3.

The top team, Team Reeb, raised $127,146. Their team partners with Olde Mecklenburg Brewery to raise money.
