Police investigate fatal crashes on busy Charlotte roads Saturday
Police investigated fatal crashes on two busy Charlotte roads Saturday.
The first wreck occurred around 1:30 a.m. in the 7600 block of East Independence Boulevard, police said on social media site X.
The second crash was reported about 3:30 a.m. in the 900 block of Yorkmont Road, police said.
Officers with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department major crash investigation unit were at the scenes determining what happened.
