10 displaced by south Charlotte fire on Saturday
Four people were treated by Medic at a fire Saturday morning that damaged four apartments at The Regency complex on Water Oak Road at North Sharon Amity Road.
The fire displaced 10 people, Capt. Jackie Gilmore of the Charlotte Fire Department said.
Forty-two firefighters controlled the blaze in 22 minutes, Gilmore said. The fire started about 5 a.m.
The American Red Cross is helping those displaced by the fire. The Charlotte Fire Investigation Task Force is investigating the cause.
