Police seek information about robbery suspects

Charlotte police are looking for two men in connection with an armed robbery and assault on Aug. 23 in the 500 block of Herrin Avenue.

Two people were walking home around 2:30 a.m. when two males approached them with a weapon. One of the victims was struck in the face, causing minor injuries, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. The suspects demanded items fled on foot.

Credit cards taken during the robbery were used a short time later at a gas station.

Both suspects are black males described as tall with a thin build and short hair. One of the men was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, dark shorts, and orange and white basketball shoes. The second man was last seen wearing a gray T-shirt, basketball shorts and basketball shoes.
