No injuries were reported in a fire that engulfed a single-story duplex early Monday in the 3800 block of Rosenhaven Drive, off Central Avenue in east Charlotte, fire officials said.
The fire was reported about 4:30 a.m. and caused the roof to collapse, Capt. Jackie Gilmore of the Charlotte Fire Department said.
Twenty-eight firefighters controlled the blaze in 40 minutes, Gilmore said. The cause has not been determined. Joe Marusak
