More rain expected across Charlotte area Thursday
Showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop across the Charlotte region again Thursday, with areas of heavy rain possible.
The rain will continue into the evening, according to the National Weather Service office in Greenville-Spartanburg, S.C.
Storm chances will continue into Friday and Saturday, before the weather turns partly sunny on Sunday.
Thursday will remain hot, with a forecast high of 89. The weather will turn cooler, however, with expected highs dropping to 87 Friday, 84 Saturday and then a downright comfortable 76 Sunday.
