Security drill planned for CLT Wednesday
Charlotte Douglas International Airport, local law enforcement agencies and airlines will participate in a security drill at the airport Wednesday morning.
The drill will run from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., and take place in a secured part of the airport, Charlotte Douglas officials said Tuesday.
The drill is meant to prepare airport staff and law enforcement for a potential emergency situation. Customers may notice an increased law enforcement presence as well as see emergency personnel and vehicles Wednesday.
