Charlotte traffic: Overturned vehicle on I-485

Emergency crews are responding to a report of an overturned vehicle with injuries on Interstate 485 Inner Loop at the ramp that leads to southbound I-85 in Charlotte. The vehicle overturned about 9:10 p.m. Saturday.

On Interstate 77 northbound, a wreck closed the right lane near Clanton Road in Charlotte about 8:30 p.m. The lane reopened at 9:20 p.m.

Earlier, a wreck closed one lane of Interstate 85 northbound near Edgewood Road in Bessemer City. The lane reopened at 7 p.m., state highway officials said.

Saturday afternoon, Medic took two motorists to Carolinas Medical Center from a wreck on Mallard Creek Road at West W.T. Harris Boulevard. Joe Marusak
