I-77 north moving slowly in Huntersville
Traffic is slow on Interstate 77 north in Huntersville after wreck at 7:51 a.m. Expect delays from I-485 to Mount Holly-Huntersville Road.
A wreck on I-77 south is slowing traffic on the approach to the John Belk Freeway. The wreck was reported at 7:42 a.m., according to NCDOT.
Also, one person died in a crash early Monday on I-77 south near the Clanton Road exit. The collision shut down all lanes around 2:30 a.m. The identity of the person who died has not been released, and an investigation is ongoing.
Elsewhere:
▪ I-85 south is slow at the I-77 interchange due to a wreck reported at 7:48 a.m.
▪ A hit-and-run at Providence and Queens roads is slowing traffic through that area. The wreck was reported at 7:50 a.m.
▪ At least one person has been hurt in a collision at Monroe and Thermal roads in east Charlotte at 8:02 a.m.
