Charlotte traffic: 2 highway wrecks with injuries

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police have responded to two wrecks with injuries on interstates Tuesday morning and a wreck with someone pinned in a vehicle at Dalton Avenue and North Graham Street.

One wreck was reported about 5:45 a.m. on northbound Interstate 485 Inner Loop at West Boulevard.

The other wreck was on I-85 south at Billy Graham Parkway about the same time. The wreck has the right lane blocked, state highway officials said.

Charlotte firefighters responded to the pin-in wreck at 7:10 a.m.

Police also are at wrecks at the I-485 ramp at Providence Road, on Wallace Road at Monroe Road, Albemarle Road at Wilgrove-Mint Hill Road, and on Old Providence Road at Providence Road.
