Charlotte house fire quickly contained

Twenty-eight firefighters controlled a house fire in 10 minutes Wednesday morning in the 11800 block of Laurel Grove Lane, off Johnston Road in south Charlotte, Charlotte Fire Capt. Jackie Gilmore said.

The fire started shortly before 5:30 a.m. Three people were inside, but no injuries were reported, fire officials said. The cause was unknown.
