Another wet, sunless day ahead for Charlotte
Another wet, sunless day is ahead for the Charlotte region Tuesday, although temperatures should remain short-sleeve warm.
The region has a 70 percent chance of showers during the day and 60 percent chance Tuesday night, with patchy fog in some areas.
Tuesday’s high is forecast to reach 77 degrees and Wednesday’s 80. The normal high for this week of fall is 77.
While the chance of showers remains at 40 to 50 percent Wednesday through Friday, a relative cold front will slowly move in Wednesday from Tennessee.
That cold front should drop highs to 72 Thursday and a brisk 68 Friday and Saturday, according to the latest forecast from the National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg, S.C.
When is our next chance for sun?
Probably not until Saturday, when partly sunny skies and only a 30 percent chance of rain are forecast.
