Here is a county-by-county look at conditions across the Charlotte region:
MECKLENBURG
Rainfall: Most areas have received between 3 and 4 inches since Friday morning.
Forecast: Showers for the rest of Saturday and Saturday night. Becoming more windy.
Another 1-2 inches of rain by Sunday evening.
Roads: No closures reported. Four Mile Creek in southeast Mecklenburg is out of its banks Saturday afternoon, and some flooding is possible in that area.
Power: Duke Energy reports more than 2,400 outages.
Warnings, watches: Flash flood watch and wind advisories through Sunday.
ANSON
Rainfall: About 4-5 inches in most areas.
Forecast: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm for the rest of Saturday and Saturday night. Becoming more windy. Another 1.5-2 inches of rain by Sunday evening.
Roads: The N.C. Department of Transportation reports these roads closed by flooding: Brown Creek (near Wadesboro); Cribbs Creek; Dennison; George Wright (near Ansonville); German Hill; Grassy Island; Lockhart; McAlister Farm; Mills; Pleasant Grove; Randall; Robinson Bridge (near Morven); Rocky Mount Church (west of Ansonville); and Webb.
Power: Only minor problems.
Warnings, watches: Flash flood watch and wind advisories through Sunday. Flood
warning for the Rocky River, which was still rising Saturday afternoon.
BURKE
Rainfall: 1-2 inches.
Forecast: Showers through Sunday. Another 1-2 inches of rain by Sunday evening.
Roads: Some road closures likely near Old Fort, where flash flooding is being reported.
Power: No major problems.
Warnings, watches: Flash flood watch and wind advisory through Sunday.
CABARRUS
Rainfall: Generally 3-5 inches.
Forecast: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm for the rest of Saturday and Saturday night. Becoming more windy. Another 1-2 inches of rain by Sunday evening.
Roads: Numerous road closures in the Harrisburg area. Those include Stough Road, between N.C. 49 at Roberta Road; Old Charlotte Road; Pharr Mill Road at Back Creek; Stallings Road, between Quail Hollow Road and Middleton Circle; Bowman Barrier Drive, near Long Run Farm; Hopewell Church Road, near Kiser Road.
Power: In the hundreds.

CATAWBA
Rainfall: About 1.5-2.5 inches.
Forecast: Showers for the rest of Saturday and Saturday night. Becoming more windy. Another 1-1.5 inches of rain by Sunday evening.
Roads: Tree blocking N.C. 10 near the town of Catawba. Falling Creek went out of its banks Saturday afternoon.
Power: No problems.

GASTON
Rainfall: About 2-3 inches in most areas.
Forecast: Showers through Sunday. Becoming more windy. Another 1-2 inches of rain by Sunday evening.
Roads: No problems reported.

IREDELL
Rainfall: Ranges from 3 inches in the south to 2 inches in the north.
Forecast: Showers through Sunday. Becoming more windy. Another 1-2 inches of rain by Sunday evening.
Roads: No problems reported. But a partial collapse of a roof was at North Iredell High School injured students.
Power: No problems reported.

LANCASTER (S.C.)
Rainfall: About 4-5 inches in most areas.
Forecast: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm for the rest of Saturday and Saturday night. Becoming more windy. Another 2-3 inches of rain by Sunday evening.
Roads: Numerous roads were closed early Saturday, but no closures were reported by late morning.
Power: Only minor problems.

LINCOLN

Roads: Numerous closures, including Bridgeport; Efird; Flint Ridge; Gaddis; Gold Branch; Hill View; Morris Rushing; Old Mill; Poplin; Rushing; Sides; and Stanly School roads.

UNION
Rainfall: Totals range from 3 inches in the north to 4.5 inches in the south.

Roads: Secrest Short Cut Road closed east of Hemby Bridge. Water is reported on several other roads in the area, and also near Fairview along Goose Creek.
