Charlotte airport to hold meetings about updates to noise exposure map
Charlotte Douglas International Airport is holding two public meetings to present a draft of its new noise exposure map and gather feedback.
Noise patterns around the airport have shifted in recent years, as Charlotte Douglas becomes more busy and flight patterns change.
The meetings are set for Wednesday at Olympic High, 4301 Sandy Porter Road, and Thursday at the Sheraton Charlotte Airport Hotel, 3315 Scott Futrell Drive. The meeting will run from 6 to 8 p.m.
Airport officials and noise consultants will be present to answer questions and present information about the noise study.
