That first taste of winter cold will hit Charlotte at the end of the week, with a low of 38 degrees predicted for the weekend.
On the plus side, rain chances are low to none, with moderate temperatures expected during the day.
Tuesday’s high of 77 will be as warm as it gets for the next 10 days. Forecasters predict daytime highs will start to cool down Wednesday and continue falling through Monday of next week.
Nightly lows will be in the 40s the rest of the week, before dipping to 38 on Sunday.
On Sunday and Monday, the daytime high will be only 60 degrees, before a slight warming trend kicks in Tuesday of next week.
