Kings Mountain police seek clues in drive-by shooting
Kings Mountain police are seeking tips in connection with a shooting that occurred Friday when a group of men in a car allegedly fired at someone in a nearby vehicle. The victim was not injured, officials said.
The incident, which is considered an assault with a deadly weapon, occurred on Phenix Street in North Kings Mountain, not far from U.S. 74.
The make and model of the suspect’s four-door car is unknown, officials said. However, it was believed to be red in color. It was believed to have been occupied by three black males with shoulder-length dreads. The vehicle sped off in an unknown direction, officials said.
