The next three days should remain sunny and mild in the Charlotte region, before temperatures plummet to a wintry low of 39 degrees Saturday night, according to the National Weather Service in Greer, S.C.
Wednesday can expect a high of 73, Thursday 70 and Friday 73. The normal high for this week of the year is 73.
Then a cold front is expected to arrive from the northwest, dropping highs to 64 Saturday and 60 Sunday and Monday.
Lows will remain in the high 30s Sunday and Monday, while the high could rebound to 65 Tuesday, forecasters said.
The good news: All sunshine is in the forecast through at least early next week.
