Worker dead in fall at South End construction site

A worker is dead Sunday morning after he reportedly fell from a construction site on Camden Road in Charlotte's South End, according to Medic.

The man was found in front of a five-story office building that is under construction at Camden Road and West Kingston Avenue, next door to Price’s Chicken Coop.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration had personnel at the scene. An unidentified man was seen moving a ladder on a fifth-floor balcony located just above the site of the fall.

The name of the worker has not been released.
