Crews fixing gas leak in Highland Creek
A construction crew hit a large gas line in the Highland Creek area and crews were trying to fix the pipe late Tuesday.
The distribution line was hit at Ridge Road and Street Avenue near Fire Station 31. Piedmont Natural Gas crews had controlled the leak late Tuesday.
Still, people in the area may smell gas as crews make repairs. The repairs should be fixed by Wednesday morning.
