N.C. man collects thousands of cans to buy ‘Donald Trump for President’ sign

You’ve probably seen the note on a can of soda promising a few cents if you recycle the aluminum.

Well, one local man reportedly collected thousands of cans -- almost 25,000, in fact -- so he could show his support for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

The Gaston Gazette reported that Johnny Bradley spent $300 to buy a vinyl “Donald Trump for President” sign for his box truck. He paid for it, he says, by turning in cans for money.

“That’s well worth it to me,” Bradley told the Gazette. “(Trump) acts like he’s for the American people.”
