Thousands of people enjoyed a huge collection of American-made hot rods, muscle and classic cars at Charlotte Motor Speedway Sunday afternoon.

The three-day Goodguys Rod & Custom Association 22nd Southeastern Nationals took over the speedway, featuring more than 2,500 cars. Goodguys bills itself as the world’s largest hot-rodding association, boasting more than 70,000 active members worldwide.

On Sunday, most attendees looked over the candy-colored cars parked along the track. In the infield, attendees had the opportunity to take a few cars for a spin between traffic cones, while others bought and sold classic cars.
