Expect showers the next 2 days in Charlotte
Rain that fell overnight in the Charlotte region is expected to continue all day and night Tuesday and again on Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service in Greer, S.C.
Tuesday also will be chilly, with a high of only 55 forecast.
While showers are expected again on Wednesday, at least temperatures are forecast to warm to 72.
Rain chances will gradually diminish Wednesday, from 90 percent during the day to 40 percent at night.
Sunshine will finally return Thursday, with a high of 73 expected, NWS forecasters said.
The sun should stick around Friday and Saturday, although highs are forecast to cool to 65 and 66 those days.
Sunday should be mostly cloudy, with a high of 68.
A 30-percent chance of showers returns Sunday night and Monday, with Monday's high expected to reach 71.
