Authorities search for elderly Rowan County couple
The N.C. Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert on Saturday for an elderly Salisbury couple who are believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.
Jimmie Coleman, 76, and his wife, Pearlene Turben Coleman, 77, were last seen shortly before 2 p.m. at a beauty salon on Rock Quarry Road in Raleigh.
They were in a gold 2002 Chevrolet Silverado with N.C. license plate MNW8798.
Jimmie Coleman is white, 6-feet-tall and 200 pounds. He has green eyes and short gray hair.
Pearlene Coleman is white, 5-feet-2 inches tall and 77 pounds. She has short gray hair and brown eyes.
Anyone who sees the couple should call 911.
