Charlotte traffic: Lanes open after northbound I-77 wreck

All lanes of Interstate 77 northbound near Remount Road reopened by 2:30 p.m. Friday after a wreck closed all of the lanes two hours earlier, state highway officials said. Congestion remained, however.

The wreck happened at about 12:20 p.m. between Remount and the John Belk Freeway, and traffic backed up to Arrowood Road.
