Mostly cloudy Friday before rain returns to Charlotte
After some morning fog, skies should stay mostly cloudy Friday before showers return to the Charlotte region on Saturday.
The chance of rain stands at 30 percent Friday night and 80 percent Saturday, according to the National Weather Service in Greer, S.C.
Mostly sunny skies are expected Sunday, with a 50 percent chance of rain returning on Monday, according to the weather service.
The weather will stay warm Friday and Saturday, with respective highs of 76 and 73 forecast.
But a cold front will move in, and highs are expected to dip to 60 Sunday, 54 Monday and 62 on Tuesday.
