Friday will be sunny, with an expected high of 63, before frost blankets the region late Friday and early Saturday, according to the National Weather Service in Greer, S.C.
A frost advisory is in effect from 1 to 8 a.m. Saturday, as temperatures are expected to drop to 34 degrees.
Saturday will be likewise sunny, although the high is forecast to drop to 56 and the low Saturday night to 31.
Sunday could inch up to 60 degrees, although the low Sunday night will again be a frigid 34, according to the weather service.
Temperatures are expected to climb early next week.
Monday is expected to reach 62, with a forecast low of 46 Monday night.
The mercury could then rise to 65 Tuesday and 69 Wednesday.
The next chance of rain comes Tuesday night, although the chance of showers is only 30 percent.
The chance increases to 40 percent Wednesday and 50 percent Thursday.
