Sunny today, with rain later this week
A cool, sunny day is ahead, but rain has moved into the forecast for later this week.
Monday’s high is expected to be around 64 degrees with a low of about 40, which is a bit warmer than the nighttime temperatures this weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
Clouds are expected to begin arriving Tuesday, with a partly sunny sky and a high of about 62. Tuesday night is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a 20 percent chance of rain and a warmer temperature of about 52.
Showers are more likely on Wednesday. The chance for precipitation is 70 percent, increasing to 90 percent at night. The high should be around 67 and the low around 58.
The wet weather could linger into the early morning Thursday. There’s a 30 percent chance for showers before 8 a.m. The high should be around 67 and the low around 44.
Friday is expected to be sunny and cooler, with a high of 59 and a chilly low of 38.
Saturday could be even cooler. The forecast calls for partly cloudy day with a high near 55 and a low again around 38.
Sunday should be mostly sunny with a high around 54.
