Unseasonably warm temperatures for Charlotte on Friday, Saturday

After a chilly start to the morning, the Charlotte region is expected to warm to an unseasonable high of 67 degrees Friday under mostly sunny skies.

The normal high for Nov. 27 is 59 degrees.

The warm weather should continue into Saturday, when a high of 68 is forecast, according to the National Weather Service in Greer, S.C.

A cold front will then settle into the region from the north and west on Sunday, dropping the high that day to an expected 64.

A cool and wet high pressure system will prevail Monday and Tuesday, bringing a 40-percent chance of rain both days and forecast highs of 57, according to the weather service.
