Mooresville police asking for help identifying suspect in bank robbery

Mooresville police need help identifying a man who robbed a Fifth Third Bank on Friday afternoon.

About 2:18 p.m., a man wearing a cap and jacket entered the bank at 329 N. Main St. and told a teller he had a gun. He left with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.

The suspect was described as an Hispanic male about 6 feet tall. Police didn’t know which direction he fled or what kind of vehicle he was driving – if any. Surveillance cameras took photos of the suspect.

Anyone with information about the robbery or the suspect should call 704-664-3311 or the Mooresville-South Iredell Crime Stoppers at 704-658-9056.
