Stamey Cattle Co. of Statesville recently exported 10 registered American Red Brahman bulls to Vietnam, the first U.S. cattle to be imported by Vietnam since 2001, according to the American Brahman Breeders Association in Houston.

The bulls came from Brahman ranches in Texas and Louisiana. They arrived at the Vietnamese National Breeding Center near Hanoi on Nov. 28.

Stamey Cattle Co. is a family dairy farm and heifer operation established in 1951. Stamey exports cattle to 35 countries on five continents.
