All lanes of northbound Interstate 77 have reopened near West Boulevard in Charlotte after a wreck earlier Monday. But delays persist on the interstate.

The wreck was reported around 7 a.m. on I-77 near Exit 7. Medic responded to the scene but said one person refused treatment.

Two left lanes of I-77 were closed for more than an hour as emergency crews responded. But both had reopened shortly after 8 a.m.

Meanwhile, police are on the scene of multiple other wrecks across the Charlotte region, including three on I-485. Two were on the north side of town on the inner loop near Rocky River Road and the outer loop at North Tryon.

Another wreck was reported on the inner loop of I-485 near Arrowood Road. No lanes were closed in any of those wrecks, according to the N.C. DOT website.

Among the other collisions:

▪ In Ballantyne, a wreck at Johnston Road and Ballantyne Crossing was reported around 8:30 a.m.

▪ In Huntersville, a multi-vehicle wreck on Gilead Road and Marguerite Lane was reported around 6:20 a.m.

▪ A wreck on inbound Independence Boulevard near Pecan Avenue occurred just before 6 a.m. One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, according to Medic
