Expect warm but wet conditions in Charlotte Monday, with temperatures in the high 60s to low 70s through Wednesday.

Meteorologists say showers are likely between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday. The day will otherwise be cloudy with a high near 69. The chance of precipitation is 60 percent, according to the National Weather Service.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday are expected to be sunny to mostly sunny, meteorologists say, with a chance of showers in the region from Wednesday evening through Thursday night.

Temperatures are expected to fall into the 40s and 50s most nights this week. Area temperatures are expected to start dropping Wednesday, reaching a seasonal norm of the mid-50s by Friday.

The National Weather Service says the warm weather is a little above average for this time of the year, when the area typically sees highs around 55.
