Missing Mooresville teen found in Georgia

A Mooresville teen reported missing last week has been found in Georgia, authorities said Sunday.

Elisabeth Mayo, 16, was last seen in Mooresville last Wednesday morning. Police said the teen might need medical attention.

The FBI also asked for assistance in finding Mayo, saying the agency had reason to believe she might be in Georgia.

Mooresville police said Mayo was found in Franklin County, about 86 miles northeast of Atlanta. They offered no additional details about her disappearance.
