A 29-year-old man is recovering after being shot in the face Sunday evening in Rock Hill. A search for the shooter is underway.
The shooting took place around 8:17 p.m. at in the 200 block of Friedheim Road. Officials said they found the victim bleeding in the front yard.
Witnesses said after hearing a single gunshot, they saw a man running away from the scene wearing a red hoodie.
The victim was transported to Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte and is expected to recover.
