2 more frigid mornings ahead for Charlotte area
The Charlotte region faces two more frigid mornings, with forecast lows of 22 on Tuesday and 21 Wednesday.
Although both days should be sunny, highs are expected to be an unseasonably low 41 Tuesday and 45 Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service in Greer, S.C. The normal high is 50.
Clouds are forecast to move into the region Thursday, with up to a 60-percent chance of rain by Thursday night and an 80-percent chance Friday.
Showers should gave way to partly sunny skies on Saturday.
Temperatures will gradually rebound as the week moves on, with forecast lows of 33 early Thursday, 42 early Friday and 44 early Saturday.
Highs are expected to improve to 51 Thursday, 52 Friday and 60 Saturday.
Sunday has a 40-percent chance of showers, with a forecast low of 46 and a high of 58.
