60 firefighters battle north Charlotte warehouse fire; cause under investigation
About 60 firefighters battled a warehouse fire that closed West Craighead Road in north Charlotte early Wednesday.
The fire gutted a Ryder trucks repair and rental warehouse, according to WBTV, the Observer’s media partner.
The fire started at about 3 a.m. in the 1400 block of West Craighead, off North Graham Street. No one was injured. Officials are still trying to determine the cause.
It took nearly an hour and a half to control the blaze, fire officials said.
