Sign up for St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Sign-ups have begun for Charlotte’s St. Patrick’s Day parade, which will begin at 11 a.m. March 19.

This will be the 20th year for the Charlotte St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Charlotte Goes Green Festival.

The parade is open to pipe and drum bands, musical groups, neighborhood associations, schools, alumni groups, cheerleading and drill teams, international organizations, police, fire, elected officials, alumni groups, businesses and “anyone else who wants to be Irish for a day,” according to the event’s website.

Applications and details are at www.charlottestpatsday.com. The deadline to sign up is March 1.
