Wednesday to remain cool in Charlotte region
Wednesday is expected to remain unseasonably cool under all sunshine in the Charlotte region.
Wednesday's forecast high of 45 is 5 degrees below normal for Jan. 13.
Early Thursday will be frigid, with an expected low of 28 degrees.
But all sunshine is again in the forecast Thursday, with the high expected to rebound dramatically to 55 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Greer, S.C.
Rain is then expected to move into the region, with a 70 percent chance during the day Friday and a 60 percent chance Friday night. A high of 50 is forecast that day.
The rain should leave by Saturday, which can expect mostly sun and a high of 53.
Sunday should remain partly sunny, although it will turn cooler again, with a forecast high of 45.
Martin Luther King Jr. Day should be mostly sunny, but the temperature will drop further, with a high of only 40 expected.
Early Tuesday could see a frigid low of 26, although the day should also be sunny. The high, however, is expected to again reach only 40 degrees.
