Snow flurries briefly move through Charlotte region
Maybe you were among those who saw snow around the Charlotte region on Sunday morning as a mix of flurries and rain moved through the area.
Whether snow or rain, it didn’t last long, and less than one-tenth of an inch was expected before noon. After that, the clouds should begin moving out and sunshine moving in, according to the National Weather Service.
That’s good news for Carolinas Panthers fans, who were already moving into uptown for tailgate parties before 10 a.m. for a playoff game against the Seattle Seahawks. The kickoff is at 1:05 p.m.
Sunday’s high should be about 44 degrees, with the low dropping to around 27.
