Trash pickup on holiday schedule all week

Trash pick up service in Charlotte will run on a one-day delay all week.

For example, residents who usually have their trash picked up on Tuesdays will instead have pick up on Wednesday.

The delay continues all week, with pick up on Saturday for people who usually have Friday service.

No solid waste services operated in Charlotte on Monday because of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, resulting in a rolling delay.

Service is expected to be back to a normal schedule the week of Jan. 25.
