Mild in Charlotte on Tuesday, but rain is on the way
Charlotte can expect an unseasonably mild day on Tuesday, with an expected high of 53 under partly sunny skies.
Rain, however, is likely to move into the region Tuesday night.
The likelihood of rain is 70 percent Tuesday night and 50 percent Wednesday morning, according to the National Weather Service in Greer, S.C.
The good news is the rain should move out by Wednesday afternoon.
A cold front will accompany the rain, with highs of 46 Wednesday and 45 Thursday expected.
Then temperatures are forecast to rise, with predicted highs of near 50 Friday, 57 Saturday, 60 Sunday and 63 Monday, all under mostly sunny skies.
