Medic treated a woman for non-life-threatening injuries after a wreck in the 2700 block of West Arrowood Road in Steele Creek on Tuesday morning.

Medic took the woman to Carolinas Medical Center for further treatment.

The woman veered off eastbound Arrowood along an icy stretch and struck a tree. Firefighters later spread sand on the road.

Since 8 a.m., wrecks have been reported on Sharon View Road at Calvet Court, in the 7400 block of East Independence Boulevard, on Old Concord Road at East W.T. Harris Boulevard and on Shopton Road at Steele Creek Road.

Police also are at wrecks on Park Road at Seneca Place, on West Boulevard at Reid Avenue and on Blue Heron Drive at Park Vista Circle.
