Light rain to give way to mostly cloudy skies Wednesday
Light rain should continue to fall in the Charlotte area until later Wednesday morning, according to the National Weather Service in Greer, S.C.
The rest of the day is expected to be mostly cloudy, with some patchy fog.
Thursday should be partly sunny before giving way to all sunshine and much warmer temperatures for the weekend.
Highs are expected to climb from 49 Wednesday to 50 Thursday, 51 Friday and then an unseasonably warm 58 Saturday and near 62 Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
The next chance of rain is Tuesday, although the chance is slim, at 30 percent.
