Warming temperatures and all sunshine could make for a pleasant weekend in the Charlotte region.
A 30 percent chance of rain will linger until about 9 a.m. Thursday. Skies should then turn partly cloudy through the day and evening, according to the National Weather Service in Greer, S.C.
All sun is forecast for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with respective highs of 50, 56 and 60.
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday could be even warmer, with the weather service forecasting respective highs of 62, 63 and 63.

Rain could return beginning on Tuesday, however. The chance of showers is 30 percent during the day, 60 percent Tuesday night and 50 percent Wednesday.
