Warmer temperatures should remain a few more days

Warmer temperatures should continue through much of the week, accompanied by a chance for rain or showers through midweek.

Monday’s high is expected to be near 67 degrees with a partly sunny sky and a low of about 50. The chance for showers will be 20 percent Monday night and 30 percent Tuesday morning.

Tuesday’s high should reach 64 with the chance for showers increasing to 50 percent during the night, when the low is expected to be about 57, according to the National Weather Service.

Showers and possibly a thunderstorm are in the forecast Wednesday, which will bring a 90 percent chance of precipitation and a high around 68.

Rain is expected to begin moving out Wednesday night as cooler temperatures move in. The low is expected to drop to around 46, with the chance for precipitation falling to 60 percent, according to forecasters.

Thursday should be partly sunny with a high near 54 and a mostly cloudy sky overnight. A chilly low around 36 is expected Thursday night.

That cooling trend should continue Friday, which is expected to be mostly sunny with a high near 48 and a frosty low around 28.

The weekend should be mostly sunny with highs reaching the low 50s Saturday and Sunday and lows dipping below freezing.
