Wreck blocks westbound U.S. 74 in Gastonia

All lanes of U.S. 74 west in Gastonia were blocked near Interstate 85 due to a wreck that was reported at 5:49 a.m.

The location is near mile marker 0, according to the N.C. Department of Transportation, which expects to clear the scene by 7:49 a.m.

Also:

▪ The right lane of I-77 north is blocked near Tyvola Road in southwest Charlotte by a wreck that was reported at 7:18 a.m., according to N.C. DOT.

▪ At least one person was injured in a wreck at Billy Graham Parkway and Boyer Street in west Charlotte. A power line is down, and Boyer street is closed as crews work to clear the road. The incident was reported at 7:25 a.m. by CMPD.

▪ Crews were at Old Concord and Orr roads in north Charlotte at 6:34 this morning to clear a wreck from the road.
