2 lanes blocked on I-85 south near Graham Street in Charlotte

Two of four lanes of Interstate 85 south were closed at 7:56 a.m. near the Graham Street exit because of a collision.

The wreck blocked the center lanes. Crews should have the scene cleared by 8:56 a.m., according to N.C. Department of Transportation.

Also:

▪ Part of Billy Graham Parkway was blocked near Westmont Drive due to a wreck at 8:19 a.m.

▪ At least one vehicle was blocking traffic at The Plaza and 36th Street after a collision at 8:04 a.m.

▪ A wreck was reported at North Sharon Amity Road and East Independence Boulevard in east Charlotte at 7:50 a.m.
