The Lynx Blue Line will operate only between the Arrowood and Seventh Street stations Saturday and Sunday because of construction work for the Blue Line Capacity Expansion Project.

No train service will be available from the Interstate 485/South Boulevard Station and the Sharon Road West Station, the Charlotte Area Transit System announced Friday.

Service to the I-485/South Boulevard and Sharon Road West stations will be available on CATS buses.

Each affected station will have signs directing riders to the nearest bus stop. Look for the bus stop that says “LYNX Connector.” Bus service will operate on the same schedule as the LYNX Blue Line, which is every 20 minutes. Some delays should be expected.

Details: 704-336-RIDE (7433); ridetransit.org.
