Clean-up of tractor-trailer wreck on I-85 continues to back up traffic for miles
The clean-up of a tractor-trailer that flipped over hours ago on Friday on Interstate 85 in Cabarrus County is continuing to back up traffic for miles, the N.C. Highway Patrol said.
The wreck occurred near mile-marker 60 in the southbound lanes just after noon. Crews are continuing to clean up and no one appeared to be injured, a spokesman said.
He didn’t know what caused the truck to flip and didn’t know how much longer the traffic back-up would continue.
